1 / 3Laser Team Challenge
📍 Alpena, MI
45,000 sq ft National Guard Armory converted into an indoor-outdoor laser tag venue across three levels. Events run 3–6 hours and accommodate 10–85 players.
Had an awesome time at this laser tag place! The arena was super fun and well-designed, with plenty of spots to hide and strategize. The equipment worked great the whole time, and the games were organized and exciting from start to finish. Staff was friendly and kept everything running smoothly. Perfect spot for hanging out with friends or doing something different—definitely coming back!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for youth groups, sports teams, and families with kids aged 10 and up who can handle a long-form strategic experience. The 3-to-6-hour format makes this a full-event outing rather than a quick activity stop. Hockey teams, school groups, and corporate teams feature prominently in reviews. Dress warmly for winter visits — the armory runs cold.

“We had our boys’ hockey team in Alpena for a weekend tournament. We signed them up to do the laser tag, for some fun and team-building! They had an absolute blast and didn’t want to leave! The place is set up really well, and the owner did an amazing job of explaining everything and making it a great experience. Highly recommended to anyone!”

Overview
Laser Team Challenge occupies a 95-year-old National Guard Armory in downtown Alpena, converting 45,000 sq ft across three levels into tactical laser tag terrain. The basement offers a maze of office rooms; the second floor has an open area with portable barriers; the third floor includes rooms and a balcony overlooking a basketball court below. Multiple stairwells connect all levels for dynamic multi-floor play. Indoor and outdoor areas are both used.
