“I made a pack with myself this summer to return to skating after a 40+ year absence. The thought of doing it alone was overwhelming. I was so excited to find MIssy's Learn to Skate Academy, that had classes each Saturday. I am not gonna lie, arriving to my first skate class to discover that I was the oldest in the lesson (56) was a bit daunting. But my peers, some as young as five have all been welcoming and encouraging. I look forward to skate with Missy and her other students each week. I cannot thank her enough for her pushing me every Saturday with new skills to try and practice until our next class. I am grateful for this opportunity and would recommend this experience to all people at any age. Come skate with us and and enjoy the sheer joy of skating.”

“Missy is an amazing coach! My daughter (7) started learning to skate in November 2021 with the LTS program Missy built at the original location. By May 2022 she had progressed and passed testing to enter Missy’s Artistic Competition Team, and in December 2022, after only skating for a year, my daughter competed at her first freestyle competition and took second place in her age group. Missy ignites a passion for learning and progressing their skill in these kids through friendly competition and positive encouragement. She uplifts her skaters confidence while also inspiring them to push their limits. They learn to set goals and work to achieve them. They learn to have confidence in themselves, have the determination to never give up, to learn team skills, self discipline, and body awareness while building athletic ability. Another plus is the support and friendships they make. Missy is the coach you want. Coach Missy Moore Lingo has coached competitive skaters from beginner to world-class level across artistic, freestyle, figures, derby, hockey, and jam disciplines. A competitive team accepts students who pass skill testing — one reviewer's child joined after just six months of lessons. Assistant coaches Noah and Eevy support smaller students.
