Lynbrook Village Pool
π Lynbrook, NY
A membership-based municipal pool featuring water slides, kiddie pool, and basic facilities. Best for local families planning regular summer visits, though facilities are dated.
Little ones need to stay OFF THE STARTS entering the pool! Kiddie pool needs new lining. Also, would be nice to rope off an ADULT AREA! Other than that I believe the pool is good!
π Family Action Verdict
This pool works for families committed to a full summer season membership, but the $195+ annual fee with no day pass option makes it impractical for occasional visits. The facilities are functional but dated, requiring significant investment for what you get. Best suited for local families who will use it regularly throughout the summer.

βIt's great for what it is, but for the annual membership price there should be much more upgraded facilities (dated bathrooms and kiddie pool, horrendously run food services, very old chairs and tables, not enough shade structures). The large pool just got a new heater installed this year so that's a plus, but pool cleaning has fallen by the way side.β

βHi, I just wanted to share how frustrated I am with our current pool policyβno one-day resident passes. We pay taxes, but if youβre only around part of the summer (like many of us), youβre forced to buy a $400+ membership to enjoy the pool. Itβs just not fair. Other towns let residents drop in for a day, and I think we should too. Imagine being able to bring the kids or a friend for a casual swim without committing to the full season. This policy needs to change for Lynbrook residents!β

βTerrible policy, terrible place. Extort their fellow towns people by giving them one option for the individual $195 for the season. Live in the town and would like to use your town pool for the day?β¦. NOT WELCOME! Money, money, money. Used to be about community. No more.β
