Little ones need to stay OFF THE STARTS entering the pool! Kiddie pool needs new lining. Also, would be nice to rope off an ADULT AREA! Other than that I believe the pool is good!

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

This pool works for families committed to a full summer season membership, but the $195+ annual fee with no day pass option makes it impractical for occasional visits. The facilities are functional but dated, requiring significant investment for what you get. Best suited for local families who will use it regularly throughout the summer.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Annual membership required - no daily passes available for residents
⏰Expect to pay $195+ for individual or $400+ for family season pass
🎟️Kiddie pool area needs supervision as older kids use diving area inappropriately
πŸš—Facilities are dated - bring expectations accordingly for bathrooms and seating

β€œIt's great for what it is, but for the annual membership price there should be much more upgraded facilities (dated bathrooms and kiddie pool, horrendously run food services, very old chairs and tables, not enough shade structures). The large pool just got a new heater installed this year so that's a plus, but pool cleaning has fallen by the way side.”

β€œHi, I just wanted to share how frustrated I am with our current pool policyβ€”no one-day resident passes. We pay taxes, but if you’re only around part of the summer (like many of us), you’re forced to buy a $400+ membership to enjoy the pool. It’s just not fair. Other towns let residents drop in for a day, and I think we should too. Imagine being able to bring the kids or a friend for a casual swim without committing to the full season. This policy needs to change for Lynbrook residents!”

β€œTerrible policy, terrible place. Extort their fellow towns people by giving them one option for the individual $195 for the season. Live in the town and would like to use your town pool for the day?…. NOT WELCOME! Money, money, money. Used to be about community. No more.”
