1 / 3Maggie Daley Park Play Garden
π Chicago Loop, IL
Expansive, fully fenced outdoor playground in Grant Park featuring themed climbing zones, slides, a splash pad, and mini golf nearby. Securely fenced with shaded parent seating throughout.
I honestly wish I could be a kid here again! The space is bright, inviting, and designed for fun, while also feeling completely safe and well-protected. The entire area is securely fenced, and attentive security personnel are stationed at key points, giving parents peace of mind. Everything is clean, thoughtfully maintained, and organized so that children can explore freely without worry. Itβs the kind of place that makes you nostalgic for childhoodβwhere running, climbing, and imagining endless adventures is the only priority. A perfect blend of safety, comfort, and playful energy, this park truly makes both kids and adults wish they could hit the playground without a care in the world.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5 and up who can tackle steep climbs and multi-level structures. The themed zones keep older kids engaged across a long visit, and the proximity to Millennium Park makes it a natural half-day itinerary.

βThis play area is so bountiful of entertaining physical indΓcala for kids of all ages you will find yourself looking for the price of admission! Itβs dangerously time consuming because you kids will continually find new areas and nooks and crannies to play in. Tucked away you feel miles away from a packed city. The walk in and out seems to be designed to transport you with every step to an area that seems magically placed in a city of mostly cement and iron. If the sun is out and you have kids this is a definitely place to stop on your journey in Chicago.β

βWonderful park for children, with lots of different play spaces suited for kids of various ages. There were also lots of spots (many of them adequately shaded) for parents to sit and watch their kids too. The park also has a splash pad and mini golf area that we didn't get to try this time around, but it definitely offers another set of fun activities for kids and families to enjoy. The park is across the bridge from Millennium Park, so it also makes it easy for tourists to visit and do multiple things while in that area.β

βWhat a fun park for all ages! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time here with the many options for playgrounds and equipment. There are so many other neat locations within a walkable distance. The bean is just a short walk over the bridge as well! Guaranteed that no matter the age of your kids, you will enjoy these playgrounds.β
