Fantastic day learning about Maine wildlife and the efforts to rehabilitate these animals back into the wild.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for school-age kids and curious younger children who want to see Maine's iconic wildlife up close without a wilderness expedition. The flat, walkable loop suits strollers and younger legs. Conservation-focused families will appreciate the rehabilitation backstory of every animal on site.

Good walkable layout with plenty of regional aminals and family friendly. Cougars and wobbly porcupine were impressive. Snack shop was mostly candy and gift shop had a small, fair selection. So nice to learn about Maine wildlife.

People at the gate were kinda stupid and holding up the line tryna figure out how to do split payment.. was like watching an episode of Dumb and Dumber which held up and started a line of people. Before then was nobody there.. other than that the park was fine
