1 / 3MedStar Capitals Iceplex
📍 Ashton Heights, VA
Two NHL-quality ice rinks - one with spectator stands - sit inside the Washington Capitals' official practice facility in Arlington.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for skating families at any level - from first-timers in learn-to-skate classes through to competitive youth hockey players at clinics and camps. The Metro accessibility makes it the most reachable rink in the DC area without a car. Advance registration is mandatory for all sessions, so walk-ins are not an option.
