π Family Action Verdict
Mini City on 21 offers a magical play experience with themed areas perfect for toddlers and birthday celebrations, with standout staff who go above and beyond. However, some families have experienced concerning management behavior during events, particularly around party timing and interactions with special needs children. βThis place is a hidden gem. I had car trouble and wandered in from the snow with my 18 month old. They opened 10 minutes early to warm us up. Chara was lovely. She immediately went to work trying to cheer up my little guy with toys and snacks. She made me a coffee, and even gave me cough drops since I had a sore throat. I felt taken care of as much as my toddler! The place is magical and full of wonder. I love the themed play houses and slides. We played until nap time and only explored about half the space. I'll be going back with my older one in tow, and spreading the word. Thank you!β

βSuch a fantastic place for a toddler birthday party! The space was great, the activities kept the kids engaged, and the lady who owned the playground is very friendly. Our son with his friends had the best time and the parents as well . We would definitely recommend Mini City on 21 for kidsβ birthday celebrations.β

βI was on the fence about writing this review. The birthday was last month, and as someone who supports small businesses, I hate to leave negativity. But what happened at this place was too upsetting to stay quiet about. I had my autistic son's birthday here, and it was one of the worst experiences Iβve ever had. What should have been a happy celebration turned into a stressful, uncomfortable mess because of the owner. From the moment we arrived, she hovered over us, micromanaging every detail of setup. Throughout the party, she was rude, constantly reminding us in front of our guests to hurry and clean, which was completely unnecessary and embarrassing. No need for that. When I explained that we werenβt using candles because my child is autistic and afraid of them, she gave me a look and said, βHe donβt look autistic.β That comment was offensive, and incredibly insensitive. Our struggles are real, and for her to dismiss them like that broke me as a parent. As a parent that comment still hurts me now. She didnβt stop there she ordered my teenage so to throw out trash, When I said "No" She told my guests to go find my husband to do it, and she the cleared tables while people were still eating. None of us were ever told that throwing out the trash was our responsibility, and the way she spoke to kids and adults was flat-out disrespectful. My guests even noticed how she was being with us and stepped in to help us clean. Something they didn't need to do. She had an argument with another parent. And another parent even said "vamonos nos estan corriendo" translated to let's go they are kicking us out, how embarrassing. To make things worse, she lied to me about needing to rush for another party (there wasnβt one) How do I know? because this day there was a carnival near by which we went walking since our car was parked already but we had forgotten our son's stroller went back and saw it was closed and no party. And later we discovered there was a man in another room she never told us about. Knowing cameras were in place and someone was hidden in the back made the whole situation feel unsafe. This woman ruined what should have been a special day. She was unprofessional, rude, and completely out of line. I would never recommend this place to any family, especially those with children who have special needsβ
