“I took my family here for public skating. The place is clean for the most part. It wasn't too crowded at all for a Saturday public skate in December. The staff was great.”

“The ice skating arena at Montclair University is a great spot for skating enthusiasts! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience enjoyable for everyone. It’s a fantastic place for hockey players, as it’s primarily used for hockey practice and games. However, the ice can be a bit rough at times due to its heavy hockey use. There are limited public skate times during the week, so I recommend checking the schedule online as it’s updated frequently. Purchasing the membership pass is a great value-it saves you money and can also be used for the fun Friday DJ Night public skate events. If you plan to use the lockers, be sure to bring quarters. The arena also has plenty of vending machines, sells easy-to-eat food items, and even has a great ice cream machine on-site. Overall, it’s a fun and lively spot for skating-just plan ahead for public skate times!”
