Fun and clean. Everyone is nice

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

A good drop-in climbing option for families with kids aged 6 and up who want a well-equipped facility without booking ahead. The auto-belay routes allow kids to climb independently. Families committed to regular visits should evaluate the membership tiers carefully β€” pricing has increased since the Summit-to-Movement transition.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Day passes give full climbing access without a membership β€” gear rental is available separately
⏰Auto-belay routes are the quickest entry point for kids climbing without a trained belayer
🎟️Yoga and fitness classes are included with membership β€” confirm drop-in class availability if visiting on a day pass
πŸš—Weekday mornings are the least crowded times for open wall access

β€œGoodness you can see how sharply the decline has been since Movement took over for Summit. Much of my complaints echo some other comments here; the steep change between grading difficulty, the excessive amount of auto belays, the staff being less than ideal when addressing concerns… the list goes on. Most infuriating portion of my latest visit was the absolute horrible condition of many of the ropes on the low rated routes (5.6-5.8)Those ropes are so stiff that even their grigris have a difficult time running smoothly. You truly have to flip the rope over the break release and most of the time that wasn’t even enough. After inquiring about how often they replace the ropes I was given almost a non-answer of β€œit depends” and β€œmaybe we just need to flip them” but truly for the price they charge for both day passes and memberships you’d think there’d be a defined schedule. Truly wouldn’t come back, I really miss Summit, and maybe it’s partly nostalgia but after revisiting not too long after the change and being dissatisfied to now several years later with even more dissatisfaction I don’t really think this is turning around. Those ropes really were the last straw.”
