I absolutely love this gym! The routes are interesting and the staff are wonderful. They have a great selection of classes

๐Ÿ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 7 and up who want an active, skill-building experience. Younger children can engage with beginner bouldering under supervision. Parents who climb get full access to all walls and classes. First-timers should book a beginner clinic โ€” the gym's coaching staff build confidence quickly.

โ„น๏ธ What to Know Before You Go

๐Ÿ’กFirst-time visitors should ask about beginner clinics at check-in โ€” staff provide orientation before you hit the walls
โฐClimbing shoes are available for rental on-site; bring socks
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธChildren under a minimum age may require adult supervision on specific walls โ€” confirm policies at the front desk
๐Ÿš—Weekday visits are notably less crowded than weekend sessions

โ€œThey like to celebrate every alphabet occasion there is. But if you want ropes in Portland, it's the way to go. Expensive but what isn't I guess. Stingy on guest passes. But anyway the climbing part is great.โ€

โ€œCasual climber here - and this review is for the casual climber. If I had to sum my review into a single word, it would be pretentious. I go climbing on occasion every other year. Everywhere Iโ€™ve gone, itโ€™s been a smooth and easy experience with staff who are great on giving quick refreshers. Decided to try this place out today with a friend, got the guest pass, and was disappointed. First off - you have to enter phone number, address, and a bunch of personal information, just to do the guest pass. Iโ€™m sure this is to spam me with offers in the future ๐Ÿคฎ Staff said that weโ€™d need to pass the belay check to climb, which is fine. ๐Ÿ‘ I guess I just didnโ€™t realize that they expected people who are saying they are casual climbers to know everything without any kind of help? (Like I said, this review is for the casual climber). We obviously failed our first check, went and YouTubed a quick 5 mins and felt comfortable with it all again! Then went back and was asked a bunch of different questions than beforeโ€ฆ and then were offered classes and told we could only boulder. I support safety, I guess the experience was just different than any other gym. Where I could say โ€œyeah itโ€™s been a minute, remind me of some key points after not climbing for 2 yearsโ€ - instead of - you must know everything, we will give you no help, and if you donโ€™t know everything you must take our class, which you must sign up to be a member forโ€ฆ blah blah blahโ€ฆ Like I said, just felt pretentious compared to any other gym Iโ€™ve been to.โ€
