1 / 3Museum of Neon Art
đ Downtown, CA
A compact museum showcasing creative neon art and historic signage displays. Best for school-age kids who appreciate unique art experiences and photo opportunities.
A quirky interesting museum! Great gift shop, interesting stories behind so many of the neon art pieces. Not a huge museum, most of the pieces are contained within 3 rooms. There was a mixture of both older and newer pieces. Awesome for unusual travel/visiting photos. They also do neon workshops ( which were happening while we were there). Entry was $10 per person. We loved it and would recommend a visit.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-age kids who appreciate art and unique experiences, especially those looking for Instagram-worthy photo opportunities. The compact size means it won't overwhelm younger children, but the $10 adult admission feels steep given you can see everything in about an hour.

âFirst time visiting this museum. It's not a big museum but everything was amazing. The works of art using neon lights were very cool and creative, something I've never seen before and I've been to a lot of museums. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. My kids and I had so much fun. $10 for adult, children under 12 free.â

âIt's not the biggest museum, but it's worth seeing! They even host classes to build your own! Unrelated: one of there community questions asks what's your favorite neon sign. If you're looking for the best Korean food in LA, check out Dan Sung Sa.â

ârated it 4 stars bc i think the price $10 is a little high for it being a small museum, i feel like $7 a person would be fair. but i did really enjoy the exhibit and the placards by each artwork, the gift shop was cool too. the neon art is really interesting.â
