📍 Saint Elizabeth, CA
Oaktown Boulders runs structured climbing programs for ages 3–4 (Rock Tots), 5–6 (Rock Scouts), and 7+ (Rock Stars and Rock Warriors). Uses an LED route system so beginners and advanced climbers share the wall simultaneously.
Great place to have your kids come to learn how to climb! Helps them build strength, confidence, balance, and critical thinking skills.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The most age-inclusive climbing option in the East Bay for young children — structured programs start at age 3, and coaches are specifically praised for patience with beginners. Best for families wanting consistent skill development over multiple sessions rather than a one-off drop-in.

“Our kids (5 & 8) loved it. We gathered a small group of friends and organized a day with the owner. Amazing coaching. Right away teaching them how to be safe, keep others safe and manage the gear all on their own. Will definitely make this a regular thing.”
