đ San Dimas, CA
Volunteer-run museum inside San Dimas's historic Santa Fe depot. Artifacts span the late 19th to 20th century, backed by a research library. Open first and third Saturdays. Free admission, clean restrooms on-site.
I enjoyed learning about the San Dimas train station and many other interesting facts around the area. A must to see and read about downtown San Dimas history and trains. There are public restrooms which is a plus for me. Very clean and the man inside was very nice and helpful. Very cool to see they still have the original "San Dimas" sign still intacted. They have souvenirs to buy from there too.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for school-age kids and adults with a genuine interest in trains and local history. The collection is dense and the volunteers are deeply knowledgeable â children who ask questions get real answers. Free admission removes any barrier to a short visit, and the depot building itself is a draw for architecture-minded families.
