1 / 2Paramount Drive-In Theatres
π Paramount, CA
One of the last active drive-in theatres in Southern California, featuring two 75-foot screens with Barco Digital Laser projection, FM radio audio, and a snack bar serving steak nachos and funnel cake.
We had a wonderful time at Paramount Drive-In! We went to the 7:50 PM showing and arrived around 6:50 PM. There were already a few cars, but we found a perfect spot in the second row, right in the middle. The view was excellent. We tuned into 89.7 FM for the audio (for Screen 2), and it came through clearly and strongly. Restrooms and the cafeteria were easy to find, located in the center building. Tickets were very affordableβ$13 per person on weekdays and $14 on Fridays, so it was just $26 for me and my wife. We watched Sinners and really enjoyed it. The lot got a bit crowded about 15 minutes before showtime, so getting there early is a good idea if you want a prime spot. There are two screens at this drive-in: β’ Screen 1 uses radio station 90.1 FM β’ Screen 2 uses 89.7 FM We also went on the opening night of Final Destination. It was packed, and the entrance line was long. Even though they had 8 lanes open, it still took about 15 minutes to get in. So if youβre going for a big movie premiere, definitely arrive at least an hour early to avoid the rush. Even the last row has a pretty good view, so no complaints if youβre a bit farther back. Overall, it was a fun, cozy, and nostalgic experience. Highly recommend!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a genuinely memorable experience that kids won't get at a standard multiplex. Staying in your own car means full control over volume, snacks, and toddler wrangling. The nostalgic setup and quality food make it a strong choice for family movie nights year-round.

βSuch a fun experience! The drive-in at Paramount was a total vibe β the picture and sound quality were great, and the whole setup felt nostalgic but modern. The food blew us away too β way better than typical movie snacks. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly gourmet. 10/10 date night or chill night with friends. Definitely coming back!β

βLove this place, great drive in. Easy radio station set up, with parking spots that incline towards the screen, and big clear screen and projection. Perfect for a date or family movie night. They also have clean restrooms and concession stand.β
