1 / 3Parkway Bowl
π El Cajon, CA
Parkway Bowl packs bowling, laser tag, a golf simulator, axe throwing, Hologate VR, billiards, and arcade games under one roof in El Cajon. Recently remodeled with a full bar and restaurant on-site.
The remodel is coming along . Yummy food in the restaurant, Drinks are always good, beer selection is awesome. The ax throwing is definitely worth taking a group to go have some fun for the hour. The new golf simulator includes everything you need to play. Golf, football, baseball and soccer. Great way to do team bonding or a family night out . Sitting at the new bar watching the Padre game was One of the best Tuesdays in a long time. Cheers !
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 7 and up who want multiple activities in one stop. The Hologate VR and laser tag suit energetic older kids and teens. Axe throwing and the golf simulator give adults their own draw. Younger children may find the newly brightened, bar-forward environment less cozy than the previous layout.

βBig changes, not for the best. I appreciate the new look, but theyβve brought on a lot of employees never trained anyone. Change the rules daily, and made it a less inviting and friendly atmosphere, a lot of the staff is rude or clueless now. The managers consistently rude applying rules to our group without applying them to others in our sight. For example letting someone jump the line, and getting mad and yelling at me for waiting behind him instead of the roped area, the bars take longer than ever. The food takes longer and is remarkably more inconvenient to buy. Genuinely unhappy with the Cannes, they for fancy and through the service our the window that kept so many of us goingβ

βThey totally ruined Parkway Bowl with the modernizations. Nothing looks the same anymore, the arcade was taken away, the vintage cozy cafΓ© was taken away and was replaced with a restaurant and bar with all modern and excessively bright LED lighting, and the outside has been repainted with dull and depressing gray walls. It doesn't even look like the Parkway Bowl I grew up with as a child. I don't even want to go there anymore because it was sad to see and my childhood has been erased. Why change a crown jewel that attracted people and that everyone liked? Not everything needs to be modernized π.β

Overview
Parkway Bowl has undergone a major remodel, adding axe throwing, a Hologate interactive VR arena, a golf simulator covering golf, football, baseball, and soccer, and a new restaurant and bar called Social. The core lineup remains includes bowling, laser tag, billiards, and arcade games. Birthday packages span bowling, laser tag, and The Boardwalk experiences. A Birthday Club offers perks and discounts. The remodel divided longtime regulars, with some missing the old arcade and cafΓ© layout.
