1 / 2Perch Putt
📍 Tysons, VA
Situated on The Perch at Capital One Center, 11 stories above Tysons. Eighteen holes of mini golf with panoramic city views. Surrounded by giant chess boards, bocce ball, fire pits, a dog park, and a sculpture garden — all on the same rooftop level.
Had such a great time with my kids. Perfect family time! Cool vibe for adults as well with fun cocktail menu. Hakim the manager was so hospitable and kind!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids old enough to navigate an 18-hole course independently — roughly ages 5 and up. The open rooftop setting requires supervision of young children near the perimeter. The surrounding Perch amenities extend the visit well beyond just mini golf, making it a strong pick for mixed-age groups.

“I recently worked with their events team to host a private event for a group of leaders in our company. Jessica was a pleasure to work with and even introduced me to a point of contact for dinner at Wren. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend other groups going!”

“Incredibly irritating experience. Dove 25 minutes from Reston with the kids and had booked a tee time in advance. On the third hole someone came up to us and said that Capital One Security was making everyone leave the Perch Putt because of reasons unknown. It was very poorly organized and people were still moseying around. I asked a security guard why they were asking people to leave and he did not know. Talked to another security guard and he told me they were going be cleaning the side of a near by building and were worried about cleaning supplies falling on people. Why they would do this on a busy Sunday afternoon, I'm not sure, and it was extremely frustrating to have made a reservation in advance to run in to this. If you need to close down the space, also close down the reservations for that period of time. They gave us 3 free passes (that have a 6 month expiry time) to make up for it, but it's simply not good enough for the inconvenience. Can not recommend.”
