📍 Garden Grove, CA
Fire department-adjacent playground in Garden Grove with first responder-themed equipment including a fire truck, small ambulance, and police car structures for ages 2–12. Spacious grassy area surrounds the play equipment. No on-site restrooms.
What a great playground for imaginative minds! Also a plus is the vass sea of green grass for the four legged friends! Only drawback is there is some graffiti on the playground but nothing vulgar or offensive.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 2–12 who respond to imaginative, themed equipment rather than generic playground structures. The open grass makes it easy for younger children to run freely. Plan for shorter visits — sparse shade and no restrooms make full-day stays impractical. Go earlier in the day before the site heats up.

“This is a fairly new playground next to the Garden Grove fire department. It appropriately has a first responders theme with a fire truck, small ambulance and police car. There are a few slides, a bell and other fire department-themed things. Nearby there are two new benches and also some old and rusty picnic tables. No public restrooms nearby though.”

“This is a nice playground the only downfall is no restroom. Prior to the pandemic the restrooms at the fire station were available. I am not sure if they are currently available for public usage.”

Overview
This playground sits next to the Garden Grove fire department and carries a full first responder theme — climbable fire truck, small ambulance, and police car structures alongside slides, a bell, and themed equipment. The surrounding grassy area is open and spacious. Equipment is well-maintained. No public restrooms on site; the adjacent fire station restrooms that were previously available are no longer reliably open to the public.
