I started taking swimming lessons here about a month ago and I'm glad that I did. While I know how to swim I definitely need help with endurance and form. The facilities are clean with basic amenities. The swim teachers have been really friendly and supportive. The class was only $36 for 2 months which is an amazing price considering the thousands of dollars swim school costs. You can sign up on the Chicago Park District website.

“Nice neighborhood pool that's a good size and has many open swim hours. Also has a full size 5 meter + 3 meter + 1 M diving board. Also two separate areas to lay out and catch some rays.”

“The splash pad was closed for for unstated reasons. You can't bring your bag in the pool area which is really hard when you have little kids with you. The worst part was life guards were constantly telling us to get away from the stairs even though were were the only ones in the area. With little kids and no splash pad open and deep pool water the stairs are the only place they feel safe. Other than that the water was a great temperature.”
