I didn't want to make the trek. But for some reason, no one in the bay has tactical laser tag... It's all more child oriented, and not mission based. But this laser tag is the real deal. In the woods. But it's not just flat. You have huge trees, hills and ravines and bushes and tree stumps. It's just a great map. And then, since it's mission based, it's way more fun than just tagging a bunch of kids. But kids will have tons of fun too!! So long story short, my 33rd birthday was a hit! Everyone had a great time. And I'm sure we'll remember it for years to come!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 10 and up, youth groups, sports teams, and school outings. The terrain — with ravines, hills, large trees, and bushes — adds genuine tactical challenge beyond flat indoor arenas. Beginners compete immediately without prior experience.

“This was our second visit here. Both visits were amazing! It's really more fun than I can describe in words. The only feedback I could give is it can be tricky to find if you've never been there. It's at the Koinonia conference grounds and marking on the road in isn't real prominent. This weekend we had a friend miss out on the fun because he couldn't find it. The staff is friendly and informative and did a really great job setting up different games to play. I would say try to show up a little early or for sure be on time. You will walk to the course and then the brief on equipment and course layout takes a bit but is necessary. So if you're early then all the better.”

“Our team at work went here to play Laser tag, and it was the best laser tag we played ever. The hosts are generous and explain the game very well. There are different games to play as well. 100% recommended for a large group.”

Overview

Set in the redwood forest at Koinonia Conference Grounds on Eureka Canyon Road, Redwood Ops uses Battlefield Sports professional-grade metal-exterior taggers with red dot scopes — the same equipment used in military and police training. Players have 70 hit points; each weapon type carries different ammo, damage, and reload times. Mystery boxes let players swap weapons mid-game. Medic boxes at each base allow reactivation.
