1 / 3Room Escapers - Boston Escape Rooms
📍 Downtown, MA
Room Escapers on Blackstone St runs four themed escape rooms — Panacea (apothecary mystery), Streaming (pop-culture comedy), Organized Chaos (FBI/crime drama, 8.5/10 difficulty), and The Lost Ship (Cape Cod treasure hunt).
We did our second escape room with Room Escapers last week. In August 2024 we did the streaming room and last week we completed Organized Chaos. We finally solved the room. Nadya was so much fun and made the experience that much better. It's such a clean and well decorated place to visit. The rooms are creative and challenging and we had so many great laughs. There were 6 of us which made it fun. Our youngest turned 9 last week and he had more fun playing with the props but he occassionally participated - I know he COULD participate but he had a long day in the city and again, the rooms are very cool. He loved the props. Great company and awesome staff. We will be back the next time we're in the city again.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 12 and up given the difficulty ratings (7–9.5/10). The Lost Ship's treasure-hunt narrative is the most accessible entry point for mixed-age groups. Organized Chaos and Streaming suit older teens and adults looking for a serious challenge.

“Today was our 2nd escape room with Room Escapers. We had an incredible day. Jake helped make our time slot work for our group and Eddy was a fantastic game master. He told such an amazing story and guided us perfectly to make it a triumph and just an overall thrilling challenge. We have already done Streaming and today we came for Pirate Booty II: The Lost Ship. We will be back for Panacea and Organized Chaos. Thank you to such a super crew.”

“I played the Lost Ship escape room with my boyfriend, and we just narrowly escaped with a minute 30 left! The puzzles and clues were very fun and intricate, and as a fellow escape room employee, I thought it was a great time! Shout out to our game master, Eddie, he was super sweet and an absolute joy to have as a game master. All the best to our ghostie friend Bill (affectionately known as Billy Bob)! ♥️”

“Nadia and Shev were such great game masters and we had the best time at at their Downtown Crossing location. I could do not recommend this enough or say enough nice things about the staff”
