Rose Bowl Riders
π North Arroyo, CA
Community equestrian center offering horse riding lessons and trail access in scenic Hahamongna Watershed Park. Parents praise experienced trainers KT and Greg who work well with children.
KT and greg are my favorite trainers of all time. They are the people that taught me pretty much everything I know about horses. They have horses and lessons suitable for riders of all ages, height, and experience. KT is fantastic with little kids, and gregβs great with the older kids. Together they are the best team youβll find.
π Family Action Verdict
Best suited for families seeking quality horse instruction with experienced trainers KT and Greg who excel with both young children and older kids. However, there are concerning reports of inadequate supervision and organizational problems that parents should carefully consider. Request specific trainers and observe initial lessons closely to ensure proper attention.

βWe love Rose Bowl Riders. This is the only weekly activity my daughter does not want to miss. She has enjoyed all of her lessons and learns about horsemanship as well as riding technique. It is the perfect place for her. I would highly recommend Katie if you are looking for lessons for your child.β

βWhile the horse care at RBR is excellent for boarders there and there are several lovely people using the property, the adversarial relationship between the contractor on site and boarders makes it a very unpleasant place to be for people like me who just want to enjoy our horses. If you can keep your head down and stay out of human drama, this is a good place to board, but I have never observed so much leadership chaos in a non-profit. This property should be publicly accessible to local equestrians since it is owned by the City. Instead it is managed by a board that picks and chooses people based on their likelihood of complying with what are in my opinion unacceptable business practices for a member based non-profit. In addition, several reviews here are for Myrtle Hill Farms and not RBR which is a separate entity.β
