I was here for a nearby tree planting organized by the Bronx River Alliance. There was an excellent turnout and will have to return to see how the trees are doing. The playground was unsurprisingly empty being it was an early Wednesday morning. I was happy to see the bathrooms were open and they were clean.

âThe park is beautiful and peaceful. I'm employed by the Parks department and enjoy working there. A great place to bring the kids to enjoy the playground.â

âIt's clean, but empty a lot. I see more adults than kids, but not many adults. Usually using equipment to work out or just chatting. Nothing sketchy so far. Equipment in decent condition. Haven't used bathrooms.â
