“Love this park. It's so close to home and would be 5 stars if it wasn't so close to the street or it it was at least a little more closed off from the street. I noticed there's an issue of teenagers taking over the park randomly and hooking up on the equipment and falling sleep on the floor and leaving their trash for everyone else to clean up- but that's not on the park. That's unfortunately just a result of poor parenting.”

Overview

This San Ysidro park stands out for its imaginative pirate-ship play structure set on blue foam flooring designed to look like water, complete with an island and a spinning lily pad. A fruit garden with multiple tree varieties adds an educational dimension. Two tennis courts are on-site. Shade trees help on hot days. The park sits close to a street, and some reviewers note the layout feels open to passersby.
