Took our 6 and7 year old to the Age of Dinosaurs at the Venetian. Amazing experience from beginning to end. Easy to book, amazing staff, and, of course, the VR experience blew both kids and adults away! Highly recommended.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 6 and up who want a shared, story-driven adventure rather than solo screen time. Age of Dinosaurs suits younger kids; Deadwood Phobia works best for ages 10 and up. Book in advance — walk-in availability is not guaranteed on weekends.

Overview
Sandbox VR at The Venetian puts players inside fully tracked virtual worlds using full-body suits and motion capture. Experiences include Age of Dinosaurs — a crowd favorite for younger kids — and Deadwood Phobia, a more intense zombie survival game popular with older kids and adults. Sessions are private to your group, making it feel like a shared adventure rather than a queue-based attraction. Staff brief players thoroughly before each session.
