1 / 2Savannah Children's Museum
📍 Yamacraw Village, GA
Savannah Children's Museum on Louisville Rd features a new indoor STEM area, a teddy bear hospital, nature kitchen, and flower shop play spaces. Weekend programming adds structured experiences. Memberships available for frequent visitors.
We came to Savannah specifically for this and the train museum and it was everything we imagined and more. After we pulled the kiddos away from playing trains, they had an absolute blast in the teddy bear hospital, nature kitchen, and flower shop. I imagine this will be something we'll do often with our family!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for toddlers through early elementary-age children who engage actively with imaginative and STEM-based play. The compact scale works well for focused, hands-on sessions rather than all-day visits. Families travelling through Savannah find it a strong half-day stop. Arrive early to avoid field trip overlap mid-morning on weekdays.

“Strictly visited the Children’s Museum. It is a little small, but lots of activities. On this specific day, a field trip showed up. Even with 2 busses, it wasn’t terrible. As mentioned, lots of activities just a little small. (Think of kid to adult ratios, the adults take up the majority of the space)”
