1 / 2Sesame Place Philadelphia
đ Langhorne, PA
Sesame Street-themed park with rides, character meet-and-greets, shows, a parade, and a seasonal water park opening late May. World's first Certified Autism Center theme park. Strongest for kids under 6.
Went during Easter weekend, this park is great for kids under 2. Has a lot of rides with easy access and toddler friendly. Only downside if any is the food options besides that I highly recommend for a day out with the family.
đ Family Action Verdict
The single best US theme park for families with children aged 1â6, and the top choice for families with autistic children thanks to the Certified Autism Center accreditation and trained staff. Older kids beyond age 7 may find the ride selection thin. Plan around the seasonal events calendar for the richest visit.

âNice place. But I can't believe that Sesame Place Security said the F word during the call. You know that kids might see thisâ

Overview
Sesame Place Philadelphia is the only Sesame Street-themed amusement park in the world and the first theme park to earn Certified Autism Center designation from IBCCES. The park runs year-round seasonal events including Elmo's Springtacular and holiday programming. Character meet-and-greets with Elmo, Big Bird, and friends are a core draw. The Water Main seasonal water park adds slides and a wave pool from late May. Rides skew heavily toward toddlers and early elementary ages.
