1 / 3Sharks Ice at Fremont
đ East Industrial, CA
Two-sheet ice facility in Fremont, CA with public skate sessions, learn-to-skate classes, birthday party packages with dedicated Party Captains, a pro shop, and curling. Stands with spectator seating and an upstairs sports bar.
This is a pretty good ice rink. It has decent change room, not too small, showers, and the rink surface is good, painted lines are clear, the boards are solid. And people can watch from the stands, or from a restaurant / sports bar upstairs. Parking is also safe and ample. All considered, it may be the best rink in the Bay Area.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 4 and up. Birthday party packages are a strong fit for groups of 10 or more, with Party Captains handling all in-session logistics. Learn-to-skate lessons suit complete beginners. Spectating parents have dedicated seating separate from the ice surface.

âGreat place to have a ice skating date, family fun, or party. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a shop inside if you want to buy hockey or figure skating supplies. Highly recommend Fremont Shark ice arena.â

âKids had a great time during the free skate. Ice could have been better kept up. The rented skates were dull. I was sliding when it should have been biting. Everyone still had fun though.â
