Over 60 rides, shows, and animal attractions including dolphin encounters, cheetah face-to-face experiences, and kid-scaled rides like Roadrunner Express. Thrill rides include Medusa and Batman The Ride. Animal shows run throughout the day.
We had a good time. We toda Medusa, line wasnβt very long, we seen a few shows. It was a really nice day, we would go again.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids tall enough for family-tier rides and at least one older child or adult who wants bigger coasters. Animal shows make it worthwhile even on lower-ride days. Families with very young children will find fewer age-appropriate attractions, so plan around show schedules.

βDepends on the time u get there n what ur there to do. If u wanna ride rides try to get there once it opens n ride as many rides u can before it's packed n then it starts to get pack n the waiting times get longer. For eating goes they offer different options n drink options my kids n wife and I have a meal pass that lets us eat whenever we do then 3 hrs later we can eat again n get drinks every 15 minutes that's a good thing to have. But there's other options available also. But all in all it's a fun thing to experience. Another thing available to do is the dolphin experience n it's a good deal I haven't tried it out but I want to when I get a chance. But I love to visit six flags with my familyβ

βWent to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and spent most of the day there. Itβs a big park and you definitely feel it lots of walking and some hills, so be ready for that. Theyβve got a good mix of rides, some of the older classics and a few newer ones, so youβre not stuck doing the same thing over and over. Lines were kinda hit or miss depending on the ride and time of day. Some moved quick, others took a minute, especially once it started getting more crowded. Still, once youβre actually on the ride itβs worth it. Park itself was decent, not the cleanest in every area but nothing crazy. Staff were alright, some were cool, some just doing their job. Food is typical theme park pricing so expect to pay a bit more. Had a good time and would come back, just gotta plan your day a little so youβre not stuck waiting around too much.β

βTook my kids for their first sixflags experience this last weekend 4/19 and everyone had a blast! Like 95% of the staff were very enthusiastic and funny and made the kids laugh. The animal shows were so much fun too. Not enough hours in the day though... we will be back again soonβ

Overview
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is the only North American theme park combining a full roller coaster lineup with marine and land animal attractions. Thrill seekers tackle Medusa and Batman The Ride as younger kids have dedicated attractions like Roadrunner Express and Congo Queen. Live animal shows feature bottlenose dolphins and cheetah encounters. The park is large β expect significant walking and some hills. Reviewers recommend arriving at opening to hit major rides before wait times climb.
