1 / 2Skate Zone
📍 Crofton, MD
Skate Zone in Crofton runs DJ-led public skate sessions with structured games for kids, a video arcade, a skate shop, and party planning. Clean facilities with space for spectating parents and toddlers.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Strong pick for mixed-age groups: the 10-year-old skates laps on the main floor as parents sit comfortably with a 3-year-old in the seating area. Kids' skating games during sessions give younger skaters structure and a reason to participate beyond free-skate.

“Great for kids!!”

“We visited Skate Zone the day after Easter, and even though it was a very busy day, my kids had a blast. I was pleasantly surprised that despite the crowd, there was still plenty of space to sit and relax with my 3-year-old while my 10-year-old skated around. It’s a great environment for families with kids of different ages, and we managed to have a stress-free time despite how packed it was.”

“The kids had a ball. Was there celebrating a 14th bday. If the owners fill those big holes in the parking lot I would have gave 5 stars”
