Kind of expensive over $30 for 2 adults. Staff was nice. Floor wasn't too crowded and was pretty smooth, although lots of kids. 3/28 8pm The dj sucked. Idk what kind of music he was playing, but I got a headache after an hour and left.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 5 and up looking for an affordable, local skating outing. The Sunday afternoon open skate window is the primary family-friendly session—arrive at the start for the most floor space. Parents with music preferences should know the DJ playlist varies and may not always align with the younger crowd's session time.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Sunday afternoon open skate runs from the early afternoon—arrive at the start of the session for less crowded skating
Skate rentals can be arranged by phone ahead of your visit to reduce wait time on arrival
🎟️Birthday party bookings are handled separately from open skate—contact the rink directly to arrange
🚗Check the rink's current session schedule before visiting, as lighting and music format change across different session types

I took the kids to Skate Zone on Sunday for my niece’s birthday. Open skate is 3–6 PM. Now, while that doesn’t technically say “kids only,” let’s not play slow that time slot clearly caters to children. “Adult skate” means adults only… So imagine my surprise when the soundtrack sounded like somebody’s after-hours kickback instead of a kids’ birthday skate. The music was wildly inappropriate for a rink full of children. And yes, I’m going to say it: it’s the same ratchet, tacky rotation that floods certain hip-hop and R&B stations but somehow never makes it onto rock or pop stations. Funny how that works. It’s a shame when there’s such a lack of decency toward our own youth. Now, I spent $177. It is what it is. (Im used to it i take the kids out all the time.) I wasn’t about to turn around we had dinner and a movie planned afterward. Could the price have been discounted since we arrived at 4:38? Maybe. But that part? That’s business. I have a small one I get it.. Your price is your price. I respect that. What I don’t respect is a leaking roof, no deodorizer for rental shoes, and explicit music blasting while children skate in circles under disco lights. At some point, you have to recognize when you’re part of the problem affecting our youth. Establishments that have been around this long should know better. Do better. Be better. Show pride. Show integrity. Show respect. Show appreciation for the community that keeps you in business. Because right now? The vibe isn’t it. Not to mention $7 for the skating tool for. On skaters. 🙄 As if that couldn't of been like $3/$5 such predatory tactics. But overall it's a skating rink. With Skate rentals and a few older model arcade games. A cafeteria and I didn't check the party rooms but I saw doors labeled Party rooms. Reply to ur response... Let’s be clear reading is fundamental and comprehension is everything. Please read to understand, not just to respond. No one is lying. Yes, “open skate” means all ages. I acknowledged that. However, the majority of the people there were children 14 and under. Playing music from artists like Sexy Red and other rappers whose lyrics center around twerking, selling drugs, and other adult content has a time and place. That time is adult skate. Spin it however you want that’s not asking for mentorship. That’s expecting common decency and awareness of your audience. As for leaving if your establishment has a no-refund policy, why would I leave after paying? The concern was mentioned to the older lady who walked past and asked how everything was. When It was brought up, she responded “oooook” while walking away. That wasn’t an invitation to conversation. I’m grown and experienced enough to recognize when someone isn’t trying to hear me, and I don’t waste my time speaking to deaf ears. A leak is a leak. Cones were on the floor, but no one told me why. In the 90 minutes I was there, there was not one announcement about condensation or an A/C issue. I assumed the cones were for tricks. So let’s not rewrite history. And this isn’t about prices. I paid. I stayed. I skated. This is about atmosphere and standards. My review wasn’t written for you it was written for the public. That’s what Google reviews are for. It lets people know what to expect when they walk into the rink. No more, no less. If anything, transparency helps businesses. Say Thank You. And I'll say No Problem and that's it. You should want folks to know what's up before they come here. 😂 Also, renting and selling are two different business models. If you purchase skate tools for $5, renting them at an accessible price isn’t “bad business.” You’re not selling the asset you’re leveraging it repeatedly. Let’s not confuse the two. At the end of the day, I said what I said.. Big advice from one small business owner to another: sometimes the best response to feedback is improvement, not defensiveness.

I like it. I just wish they kept the lights dimmed the whole time rather than a couple minutes on then off. Its also quite dirty and unprofessional. Overall its fun though, the elder workers there are sweet. The younger ones not so much.

I never asked for a discount. I asked a question about pricing. I paid and left. My review was about the music at a kids’ skate — not about money. Reframing my concern as being upset over a discount is inaccurate. Consistently responding to feedback with confrontation instead of accountability is unprofessional. Playing sexy red during kids skating is outta pocket ! The entire night they’ve been playing explicit music. I’m so confused smh .
