Nice course for mini golf and also the live gators. You can buy food from the desk when you pay for your golfing and then you can feed the gators. All are under 5 feet long but they did look to be very hungry, and there was a lot of them! The course is not easy but I did get a hole in one on #7. With any hole in one you get a spin of the dice when you are done to win a free round. Nice place to take the kids or grandkids.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with kids aged 4 and up who want a wildlife encounter woven into their mini golf round. The under-5-foot gators are big enough to impress without intimidating younger children. Mixed-skill groups play comfortably β€” the course rewards fun over precision.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Purchase gator food at the ticket desk before heading to the course β€” it adds a concrete interactive layer to the visit.
⏰Check the Smugglers Cove website for coupons to offset the premium price point.
🎟️Open 365 days a year β€” a reliable option when beach or outdoor plans fall through.
πŸš—Arrive earlier in the day; gators are most active and the course is less crowded in the morning.

β€œWhat a blast. The layout is quite clever and the theme is very Florida. I also bought feed for the gators, which turned out more fun than expected. The staff was friendly and nice. My only critique is that it's not very challenging. I wish there were more obstacles.”
