1 / 2Southside Bowl MD
π Hagerstown, MD
Southside Bowl in Hagerstown runs 30-plus lanes split between duckpin and 10-pin formats, with automated scoring, a small arcade, kitchen, and regular weekday specials for value-conscious families.
First time duckpin bowling! π³ Fun and exciting. Good food and friendly staff.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want flexibility β younger kids gravitate toward duckpin as older children and parents can play 10-pin side by side. The arcade adds a secondary activity. Weekday specials are the strongest value window for families avoiding weekend crowds.

βOlder bowling venue that still has potential. They provide lanes for 10 pin and Duckpin. There over 30 lanes with automated score keeping. We went for the 10pm to 12am special ($27 for two of us with shoes, Unlimited games), they have many weekday special. There is a small arcade, kitchen and bar. Plenty of parking and easy to find the entrance. Unfortunately the atmosphere was not conducive to fun for many of the patrons. The bar did not cut off serving those who were visibly intoxicated. These individuals spent the evening cussing and harassing those of us bowling (which included several large family groups) while the employees laughed and took videos. I hope they are not this careless during the day.β
