â1) Lanes software glitches. We reserved 3 lanes for a bday event for two hours, during which we played probably 3-4 games per lane. Every single game at every single lane had a variety of glitches. And these were NOT "ball stuck" glitches, but rather software glitches like a) inaccurate counting, b) pinns falling on their own sooooo often(!!), c) turns get messed up (ie. you see one thing on the front screen, and the other on the TV screen), d) so many other glitches that are hard to describe, but even the staff didn't know how to fix, so they would just ask us to reset a game 2) Hidden fees. They don't allow your own food, while their food is WAY over priced. And they have something called "$15 cake fee", which is what they charge if you bring a cake. Yes, cake is allowed to be brought because they don't sell them, but it comes with a fee. Non-negotiable. All in all, I expected to spend around $350, but ended up spending $500. 3) Customer support. Kids are working here and clearly they aren't happy when I come over and describe the problem with their software, hoping they would address it. They come over and first tell us what we did wrong, after realizing that we didn't do anything wrong they just reset the game and walk away with an attitude. 4) Not child friendly. The games eat up quarters and only sometimes start a game. So you end up feeding it more and more quarters to satisfy kids' rush. My 8yo said it best - "these machines are fraud". Also, see a photo of my 6yo trying to reach soap in the washroom.â
