1 / 2Splash ‘n’ Blast
📍 Milford, MI
Splash 'n' Blast at Kensington Metropark in Milford features two water slides and splash areas with height-based admission tiers. Part of a 4,481-acre park with beaches, bike rentals, and nature trails.
$5 or $7 entry depending on height. The 2 watersides are awesome for small kids up to adults. Not too fast or crazy and lots of fun. We went during the week so not too busy. You get a wrist band so you can come and go to the bathrooms, beach, playground or concession stand. You're allowed to bring coolers and there are plenty of seats and picnic tables with umbrellas. The water is chilly but standard for a splash pad.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 3–12 who want a water play experience embedded within a larger nature park. The dual water slides work for a wide age range, and the wristband policy means a single admission covers a full day of mixed activities across the park. Annual Metropark pass holders get the best value for repeat summer visits.

“Our JCC Day Camps Special Needs program had an amazing day at Kensington Metropark Splash ‘n’ Blast! The water slides and splash areas were a huge hit, and our campers didn’t stop talking about how much fun they had. It was a great way to enjoy the summer and gave everyone a chance to cool off and play together.”

“What a BEAUTIFUL splash pad! This place is amazing. Only complaint is that most of the kids are very young and the lifeguard on duty today 8/8/25 between 3:30 and 4 didn’t even look at the slides for a combined total of 4 seconds. He was walking in circles staring at his phone for about 15 minutes, then went to the chair and continued to stare at his phone until we left. These are very young children and somebody could get hurt.”
