1 / 2Splash Pad
π Teaneck, NY
Seasonally operated free splash pad with water sprinklers, an adjacent traditional playground, and a walking path. Staffed throughout operating hours. Opens daily after the Teaneck school calendar ends in mid-to-late June.
Great splash pad! Clean and safe place for kids to cool off on these hot summer days. Itβs not full of people, and everyone is respectful with each other. Thereβs a staff member on the grounds the whole time to make sure everything is running smoothly, and the best thing of all itβs free! My kids loved it
π Family Action Verdict
The free admission and staff supervision make this a reliable warm-weather destination for families across all ages. Parents should know the concrete splash surface gets slippery β water shoes or sandals with grip are the right call for young kids. The adjacent playground extends the visit for mixed-age families.

βGreat splashpad, kids love it, safe. Note: While the splash pad is opened as of Memorial Day weekend each year, it is not open daily until the weekend of the end of the Teaneck public school calendar. For example in 2025, the splash pad is open daily as of Saturday June 20th, but if you showed up on Juneteenth (June 18) or June 19, the splash pad will be on but locked up. The above is explained physically at a tiny footnote at the splash pad only "open daily as of the 3rd weekend of June". Also, the town recently built a quite nice three room handicap accessible bathroom for use by splash pad and playground guests, but teenagers are hanging out in them an one room is already destroyed. The town needs to install video cameras with a feed to the police.β

βFeeling hot this summer?! This is such a great splash pad where your kids could have a lot of fun. Even though we have a pool but my son enjoys just going in sprinkles and make new friends. There is a playground right next to it as well, and a nice park where you can walk around.β

Overview
Teaneck's splash pad features water sprinklers and play areas for all ages next to a traditional playground and park walking paths. Entry is free and a staff member is present throughout operating hours. New handicap-accessible bathrooms have been added. The splash surface is concrete, which becomes slippery when wet. The facility opens at Memorial Day weekend for weekends only, then switches to daily operation after the local school year ends.
