1 / 3Syd Kronenthal Park
π McManus, CA
A 6-acre east Culver City park with separate preschool and 5+ play areas, basketball and tennis courts, two pickleball courts, a baseball field, BBQ facilities, shaded picnic tables, and free parking. Restrooms open daily until early evening.
This lovely park in Culver City is not too big, not too small, just the right size to enjoy. Here you will find kids playground, picnic tables, a baseball field, a tennis court, 2 pickle ball courts and restroom. There are many parking spaces in the park and more on nearby streets.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of mixed ages β the separate preschool and older-kid play areas prevent crowding and size mismatches. The no-dog grass policy makes picnics genuinely relaxed. The sports courts give active older kids and adults additional options.

βA really good park where you can come get active. Good community of people playing soccer, basketball, baseball, and an area for calisthenics. Letβs keep it clean for the kids and families.β

βWe enjoy the swings and the baseball field. Plenty of parking and we usually come down in the late afternoons. Weβve seen games on the baseball field towards the canal side.β

βMy turnaround at the east end of the Ballona Creek Bike Path! I enjoy a rest stop here to take a break before heading back to Playa Del Rey! For locals, it also makes a good place to depart from when riding westbound towards the ocean. Itβs a good medium sized park thatβs nestled within a Culver City neighborhood. It may also serve as the site of regional play, with school teams from across the LA area. The recreation building was closed when Iβve passed thru, tho outside access public restrooms were available on the field side. With game play and spectators, these small facilities may be overwhelmed and messy. It has lotβs of free parking, shaded picnic tables, sports fields, BBQβs, playground, recreation building and a tennis court. The park is within constant view of the Wrapper Building of Culver City and frequently, the Metro E-Line light rail train in passing.β
