The Colonel Bike Park
π Providence Estates East, NC
The Colonel Bike Park features a well-maintained pump track at Colonel Francis Beatty Park in Matthews, NC. Located in wooded area between the tennis and basketball courts. Best for kids old enough to ride confidently.
My 11 year old son and his friend had a great time on the bike pump park. It was well kept and a good workout! Only negative was it was hard to find the first time. So, to help any future first timers - the trail is between the tennis courts and the basketball courts. Just in the wooded area behind the bathroomsπ€
π Family Action Verdict
Best for school-age kids and tweens who already ride confidently. The pump track rewards bike-handling skills and provides real physical challenge. Younger or beginner riders may find it demanding. Check Tarheel Trailblazers trail status online before visiting after rain.
