This inline rink in Irvine is a great spot for players and families! There are 4 rinks available, and the surrounding park views are beautiful, making it a nice place to hang out even between games. The staff is super friendly, and the whole place is kept clean and well-maintained. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a big plus! Parking is usually fine on regular days, but during tournaments, it can get rough. Pro tip: there’s free parking behind the building, just a 5-minute walk through the park, worth it when the main lot is full. Only real downside: the bathroom situation, especially for women. There are only 2 stalls, so on busy days, expect a wait. Hopefully that’s something they improve in the future. But overall, it’s an awesome rink with a great atmosphere!

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families starting kids in hockey or looking for a consistent recreational skating venue. The coaching staff are patient and thorough with complete beginners β€” no prior hockey knowledge needed. Tournament days bring large crowds and parking shortfalls, so non-tournament weekday or weekend sessions are the better family visit.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Use the free parking lot behind the building when the main lot fills during tournaments
⏰Staff will walk you through league registration and equipment requirements from scratch
🎟️The park surroundings are dog-friendly if you want to bring a pet
πŸš—Snack bar and pro shop are on-site for gear and food needs

β€œThis place is wonderful. Brought my kid here to learn how to play hockey and he is having so much fun. Coaches are friendly and fun for the kids. If you are a parent and know nothing about how to get your child into Hockey, the staff here is so patient and will explain how everything works. Nothing but positive things to say about this place.”
