Time to Escape - Atlanta Escape Room (Downtown)

“Super fun time escaping! We did the Space/Mars themed escape room, and it was a blast! A lot of creative puzzles and surprises. Our game master Jordan was also super helpful and overall made the experience epic. The room might be a little crowded for 8 people, we had four and it was just fine. Maybe 6 people would be the sweet spot for this room.”

“My friends and I did The Grand Zeppelin, since Time to Escape is located near AmericasMart, near our puzzle convention. 5 of us made a reservation for 9pm on a Saturday, which came out to about $45/person. As someone who is a big scaredy-cat, I asked my friend to call to see if live actor was scary, and they assured us that it was not scary. I can say that they were true to their word! We had Tanner as our live actor / guide through the experience. He was very immersive and passionate about the role. This was my first time doing a room with a live actor, so I don't have a point of comparison. I personally didn't like the way clues were given, but others may appreciate the banter and silly actions Tanner was doing to lead us in the right direction. I thought the addition of "crisis" moments was a clever way to reward strong players. My main issue with the room was that it was linear. At no point were two groups of people working on something simultaneously. That means that if you have more than three people, some members may be standing around. There was also one puzzle that is solved solely by trial-and-error, which is poor design. For the price, I had higher expectations in production value. The best part of The Grand Zeppelin was the ending, and I do want to commend Tanner for providing us with an immersive experience!”
