I was at the Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Rink yesterday for a truly meaningful community event honoring the Connor Kasin, 18-year-old who sadly passed away while doing what he loved the most - playing ice hockey, and it was incredibly well done. The event was beautiful and heartfelt, the food was great, and the people involved were welcoming and kind. Seeing the community come together in such a supportive way was very moving. The rink and staff helped create an environment that was respectful, warm, and centered on togetherness. This was a powerful reminder of how important community spaces like this are. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event so special.

“This used to be an outdoor skating rink like 15 years ago. They turned it into an indoors skating rink and it is really big. It has a full size rink, lots of lockers, skate rentals, a concession area where they sell food and snacks, a large fireplace with seating and more. I think I even saw a skate shop where you buy accessories and get your skates sharpened.”

Not the best view in the stands for hockey, but it's a great facility! #CK37 #ConnorKasin #ConnorKasinMemorialFoundation They hosted Hockey Night 2025 for the Connor Kasin Memorial Foundation tonight. The staff could not have been more cooperative and helpful. Very happy with the facility and the crew!”
