Free to enter experience to learn about several animals and meet them. It was sad to see that the grey wolf had passed on, but I'm glad he lived a long and happy life on this sanctuary. Its nice to see such well made enclosures. Great trails to walk on as well. I will be returning! All the animals looked happy and healthy.

This is such an awesome community park. The park itself is great with lots of open space. There’s a small zoo as well with a great assortment of local animals that the kids love to look at. On top of all that there’s a great trail the runs through the park that you can bike or hike on.

Overview

Upper Schuylkill Valley Park's Wildlife Center showcases raccoons, foxes, bobcats, owls, vultures, and farm animals in well-maintained enclosures. The indoor Schuylkill Wilds exhibit features creatures of the river ecosystem year-round, and a seasonal butterfly garden runs alongside it. The Schuylkill East Trail — a flat, natural-surface path under 2 miles — starts from the lower parking lot. An accessible fishing pier and carry-in boat ramp serve non-motorized craft.
