Established in 1987 as the first indoor climbing gym in the United States, Vertical World Seattle provides a full range of climbing experiences including top-rope, lead, and bouldering. The facility hosts birthday parties, school and church groups, corporate events, and summer youth camps. Beginner classes walk new climbers through fundamental technique and safety before hitting the walls. Belay certification is available for those progressing to rope climbing.
