Excellent customer service and for the price it's got many different climbing options. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys rock climbing

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Auto-belay routes make this accessible for families without prior roping experience — kids can climb independently as parents spot from below. Summer camp weeks in June and July are a structured full-morning option for school-age kids. Birthday parties can be arranged for groups wanting a climbing-themed event.

“Old school neighborhood gem. At least a dozen routes you can do off the auto belays, and a few dozen more you can do if you have a partner to belay you.”

“Wall Crawlers may be a small gym, but they set great routes and keep the place really clean.”

Overview

Established in 1999 and remains one of Atlanta's most respected independent climbing gyms, Wall Crawler offers 8,800 square feet of climbing surface near the Edgewood-Candler Park MARTA station. A dozen-plus routes run off TruBlue auto-belay systems — no partner or reservation needed to climb them. Additional routes open up with a belaying partner. Summer camps run every week in June and July from morning to mid-afternoon, so drop-in visitors should plan around that schedule.
