“Beautiful view. Good shade. Quiet. Rush hour can get a bit exhausty”

“I come to this waterfront and park mainly for the amazing views of Manhattan. Besides that, I come to this park for this underrated and overlooked calisthenic park. There are lots of calisthenic apparatuses here. One of them being the climbing ropes which you'd be pressed to find at any calisthenics area anywhere in the world. During the summer time there's plenty of shade and its RIGHT by the water, which helps a ton to cool down. During the winter, if its frigid outside, then yeah, its going to be that much colder over here, so keep that in mind. If it's not too cold though, it's not that bad. Plenty of space, and lots of room for use. Its a pretty underrated calisthenics area and its usually never that packed. Really great area to workout and train, especially for the calisthenics enthusiast. Lots of attractive and fit people usually come here if they're running by. Always good people and energy. You can't beat getting a FREE workout, while getting an amazing view of NYC!”
