“Such a cute aquarium! We took our daughters here and they loved seeing all the fish and getting to feed them shrimp. The staff were so friendly walking us around telling us about the fish and their names they gave them.”

Overview
Westport Aquarium sits in a traditional Pacific fishing town and leans into that identity - the fish collection reflects local marine life, and staff guide visitors through personally, sharing the names and stories of individual animals. Families with young children report that the intimate scale makes it far more engaging than larger facilities: kids get face-to-face time with fish and staff rather than navigating crowded exhibit halls.
