1 / 3Wild Animal Safari - Pine Mountain, Georgia
π Pine Mountain, GA
Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, GA features a 3.5-mile drive-thru safari with 400+ animals including zebras, bison, and giraffes, plus the Walkabout Adventure Zoo with 50+ species, a petting zoo, and bookable animal encounters.
Weekday field trip for kindergarten... It was an awesome experience and the children enjoyed it.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children ages 3 and up who will engage with the feeding experience. Renting a van on-site is strongly recommended by reviewers for the best animal interaction. Younger toddlers may find the long drive section tiring, so the Walkabout Zoo provides a good active break after the drive.

βHave been here twice within the last month. Spent well over $500 between both trips, van rentals, bags of food, ice cream, items from gift shop, etc. Everything was great from the clean vans, the drive thru was fun, walk through we enjoyed. However, the staff is not personable whatsoever. Some of the most bland, stink attitudes I have encountered in an environment like this one. My grandmother asked for walking directions to get to the walk through from the gift shop and she essentially just had a finger pointing in one direction while she stayed in the chair munching on a bag of chips. When we got ice cream and said thank you, we received an βmhmβ back. I just feel we spent entirely too much to receive attitudes from the workers similar to what you see at a McDonaldβs on a bad day. This is the ONLY reason I did not give 5 stars. I hope if we were to return that everyone is a little more high spirited the next go around to update with a better review!β
