1 / 2Willow Pool
📍 Willow Meadows/ Willowbend Area, TX
Classic Houston neighborhood pool on 1.5 acres featuring a 25-meter L-shaped pool, two one-meter diving boards, reserved lap lanes, a children's wading pool, and the Willow Wahoos competitive swim team for ages 5+.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families seeking a genuine community pool with competitive swim infrastructure - diving boards, lap lanes, and an active swim team create more depth than most municipal pools. The tree-shaded grounds and tight-knit community give it a distinct neighborhood feel. After significant rain, mosquitoes around the grounds can be problematic.

“Willow Pool is a really great neighborhood pool with six 25-yard lap lanes and two 1-meter diving boards with a separate diving well. The facilities are very clean with a men's and women's restroom/changing area. There are plenty of picnic tables with large trees to give you shade.”

“We love the people at Willow Pool. The community is wonderful and every time we go my kids find friends with whom they can play. The kids joined the swim team this year (Go Willow Wahoos!) and are having a blast.”

“Willow Pool is a quaint pool that is straight from the 1980’s. Kids can jump off diving boards and much fun is had!”

Overview
Willow Pool operates a 25-meter L-shaped pool with six lap lanes, two one-meter diving boards with a dedicated diving well, and a separate children's wading pool. The 1.5-acre site includes picnic tables under large shade trees, a gazebo, and a half basketball court. Back deck is available for birthday party rental. The Willow Wahoos swim team accepts children aged 5 and up. Wooden deck areas in sections are showing age-related wear.
