1 / 2Woodland Hills Pool
π Woodland Hills, CA
Well-managed LA County pool with 12-foot depth offering quality swim lessons for all ages. Clean facilities with shower and changing rooms at affordable entry.
Iβve visited several of the LA County Park and Rec pools, and this one is the best by far. Very friendly, courteous staff, facilities are clean and relatively new. And on my first visit of the season, yesterday, I learned that they became a year-round pool this past year. If attendance increases, they may be a year round pool again this year, so please come out and support the pool. Also, for those over 50 years old, you can buy a pass good for 30 entries for only $25! Also, Ingrid, the manager, has made sure all the clocks work, and that the soap dispensers work in the outdoor showers. These are small things, but they make a difference to your experience there. Hours are 12 to 8 Tuesday through Friday, and 1-5 Saturday and Sunday. Itβs never been very crowded when Iβm there. Come on out, and letβs help them build attendance so they can stay open all year this year!
π Family Action Verdict
This is an excellent choice for families wanting quality swim lessons and a clean pool experience at a reasonable price. Best suited for families with children actually swimming rather than just accompanying, as non-swimmers must wait outside the pool area. The pool works well for all ages with its 12-foot depth and professional instruction program.

βGreat pool and staff. Swimming classes are more effective than any other place weβve signed up at and they have taught multiple kids in our family to swim, do different strokes, and dive. Pool is unexpectedly closed sometimes due to staffing issues or pool technical issues which can be problematic if thereβs no communication (happened a few times) and you find out upon arrival. Other than the few times they have not communicated, they call and leave a message to communicate closure which is helpful. Staff is friendly and pool is up to state standards and requirements.β

βGreat pool, the water is very clean. They have a shower , and a dress room. The pool here is as deep as 12ft . Clients here a decent never had any issues and the admission fee is $4 for the entire day good value.β

βNot expensive and its clean. However at times may get a bit busy. It's not a very big pool. Check online for their schedule. It's only open during summer, from around June to August I think.β
