“Our whole community went for a special Moonlight Dinner Ride booking and had such a wonderful time! Dinner was delicious — our steaks were cooked perfectly — while a live band played the entire evening, from dinner to the campfire stop in the forest. The scenic train ride included historical narration, and our host was knowledgeable and engaging. We also tried gold panning with our toddler, which he absolutely loved, and explored the charming museum on site. Everything was well organized, family-friendly, and full of character. It was such a memorable experience — we’re already planning to make this an annual family tradition. Highly recommend!”

“Cute little locomotive extravaganza through the Sierra National Forest, great for kids. It reminded me of Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm's train ride. Educational and informative, and four miles lasting about an hour with a restroom break half way through. Lunch was optional at the end, you could purchase it there with your tickets or bring your own. It had a cute picnic area with plenty of tables. Wheelchair accessible.”

“The Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad offers a scenic and relaxing trip through the forest. Riding behind a real steam locomotive, Shay No. 10 (built in 1928), is a unique experience and a nice piece of history. The staff is friendly and shares interesting stories about the old logging days. A fun stop for anyone who enjoys vintage trains and local history.”
