We love to visit Frankenmuth and this was our first visit to Splash village. My girls were so excited to visit and we had our fingers crossed it would be a great trip. Boy, we weren't disappointed. The staff was friendly, there were no hoops to jump through or limits on the water park. We showed up, got our room and could just walk into the water park any time we wanted the day we arrive all the way up to 4pm the next day. We also got the added breakfast and the chicken dinner which made things so easy. The late night movies on the big screen for the kids was a big hit as well. We will definitely be coming back again! As with any review, I'll give some (minor) criticisms just so there's always room for improvement. 1. For our tastes, the updated rooms were awesome, but the beds are very firm. Not our cup of tea but for an overnight stay it wasn't a huge issue. Just posting it here for others who may prefer a softer bed. 2. We've had the chicken dinners and Zehders many times and have always had a great time. I don't know if something was off in the kitchen when we went but the room wasn't crowded but the waiters were running behind. Waiter came by maybe every 20-30 min so we spent a lot of time waiting at the table. Looking around it appeared other tables were waiting as well. It was wayyyyy off from what we normally experience here so we're chalking it up to just a bad day. I'm hoping it's NOT because we prepaid for the dinner that it affects the service or something like that. We were on vacation so luckily we weren't in a hurry so we just went with the flow. I'm sure it was a fluke. Regardless, when we did get food, it tasted wonderfully as always. My kids could live on coleslaw forever lol. Thank you all for a wonderful mini vacation that our family really needed. We created some wonderful memories and the girls told us we need to make a trip back soon. I think they're right!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A year-round indoor waterpark destination that works for families with children aged 3 and up. Lazy rivers and splash areas suit younger children, and the twisting slides deliver for older kids and teens. Day passes make it accessible for non-overnight visitors.
